Following a year of successful programs and activities, L'chaim Chabad Lubavitch organized a farewell dinner.

On Sunday night they came to celebrate the best of both.
In an era where sacrifice "dying for the cause" has become synonymous with harming others -
They were there to salute the selfless sacrifice of the students and volunteers of L'chaim Chabad Lubavitch who live to enhance other lives
They Saluted the
- Over 30,000 of volunteer hours
- Which have impacted the lives of
- Over 3000 children in Greater Manchester
- Hundreds of lonely men and women who live for their weekly visit by one of L'chaim Chabad Lubavitch volunteers,
- Shuls who have come to rely on them for their continued running,
- Schools who have enhanced their educational capabilities as a result
- and thousands of individuals and families who are prouder and more connected as Jews
- These students and volunteers have organised Community fun days, Travelling theaters, camps, after school programs, lectures, and much more.
All in 1 School year!
While young men their age in every other school and college both in the Jewish world and non Jewish world are busy planning their holidays, vacations and nights out.

The program began with a beautiful reception, where guests had the opportunity to put on Tefilin, say L’chaim and take pictures at a photo booth.
Speaker after speaker highlighted the tremendous positive impact the volunteers had on their lives

Mr. Simon Hilton - who shared the 2 most memorable experiences.
Mr. Shlomo Urdy shared his and his families personal journey from complete isolation to a fully involved Jewish community member
And Yeshivas Lubavitch Manchester Alumni Rabbi Dovid Lewis Rabbi Of South Manchester Synagogue shared his humble beginning as a yeshivas Lubavitch Manchester student visiting people on a Friday which as he described was a crucial step to bring him to where he is today.
Rabbi Lewis challenged each one of the participants to reach out to someone else over the summer and spread the light.

The event ended on a high note, with a spontaneous outbreak of song and dance.
Rabbi Cohen Director of L'chaim Chabad Lubavitch Thanked everyone for joining this special evening in saluting these phenomenal volunteers contribution to the Manchester Jewish Community and wished them well on their future studies
